I'm Chris Winters. I'm 56 and live in Bromsgrove in the UK with my wife Lyn of 34 years. We have two boys, Sam and Joe and a two (now three) year old grand daughter Josie.

Until 2014 I thought I had it all - a good job, a wonderful family and never a days real illness.

Until I found I have inoperable pancreatic cancer, the least survivable of cancers.

It's bad but we don't lose hope.

My best hope of time with my family is palliative chemotherapy.

Unfortunately the chemotherapy I was on(Abraxane) to this point is not funded by the NHS so we needed to find a way to pay for any shortfall in our insurance.

We figured we could wait for the money to run out or do something now.
