Cyberknife perhaps?

We had a week off from chemo this week ahead of starting cycle 4 of gemcitabine & abraxane on Tuesday, so we managed to get away for a few days and make the most of our Indian summer which has been great. We got a message while away from our oncologist to say that the PET scan had shown no changes and therefore the cyberknife option could be feasible. I think this is good - but to be honest I'm not too clear on what the outcome from cyberknife might be; nor how much it might cost and whether we willl have to find the entire cost. Hopefully we shall find out this week and flesh out our cunning plan; fingers crossed.

Fundraising continues to go at a pace with £800 already raised from our Soultrader bash and over £350 already raised by Sam and Karen for the Brum half marathon and "From here to Maternity" walk.

Our friend Wendy Stokes is organising a coach trip to Bath Christmas markets which looks really good - details here.

We've had some fantastic responses from old fiends and colleagues we had lost touch with. It's really great just to hear from them with all the messages of support, let alone all the generous donations - thanks to all of you. It makes such a difference day to day to know that folk are rooting for us and keeps us positive.
