Changing Plans

We've been waiting over the last couple of weeks for news regarding Cyberknife. We spoke with our oncologist yesterday and it seems that I'm not a good candidate after all because of the proximity of the tumour to my small intestine. Hey Ho - at least it takes away the problem of funding it.
So.... all change. Plan B is to undertake a 28 session course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy daily throughought November and early December. Hopefully this will give a break from weekly Gemcitabine & Abraxane. I suspect I'll be back on the regime after.
This weeks chemo has been cancelled due to poor bloods (along with a short holiday we had planned ahead of radio - bu$$er!).
However the combination of all these things does somewhat take the pressure off costs for treatment which is goodness; it is difficult to know exactly where we are as bills drip in weeks or months after treatment; this should give us a good chance to review.
