End of Abraxane for me?

Well, I'm not sure. It seemed to work for a while then appears to have become ineffective. My last scan showed "widespread metasteses(sp)" which I gather means the cancer is now in much of my abdomen (the pertoneum to be precise). This is not best and Dr suggests we go back and try another chemo called Folfirinox.

We'll give it a try - I've had it before so I hope I can tolerate it OK. Started with first 50% dose yesterday and all looking OK so far.

If I'm lucky enough perhaps we try Abraxane again later.

This does change my fundraising effort a bit. In all likelihood all that you have raised will end up with other victims. Please continue to give and we'll make sure they get it.

I'm not ready to give up yet!
